Reiki

Energy balance and healing

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui. It works with what is often described as universal life force energy, understood as the energy that flows through all living things. It is a gentle hands on practice that works with the body’s energy. I use a pendulum to assess the balance of the chakras.

Benefits:

• Calms the nervous system
• Releases physical and emotional tension
• Supports the natural flow of energy in the body
• Encourages the body’s capacity for self healing
• Supports chakra alignment and energetic balance

Cupping

Muscle release and energetic support

Cupping is a traditional practice rooted in Chinese medicine that has been used for centuries. The technique uses suction to release muscular tension and support circulation. The work focuses on the back and follows pathways known as meridian lines, which in traditional Chinese medicine are channels through which energy is believed to move through the body.

Sessions begin with a gentle oil massage using lavender, almond, ginger, or arnica oil. I primarily use a suction cupping gun, and occasionally traditional glass cups. While the cups are placed, I also work with Reiki focussed on the back.

Benefits

• Releases muscular and energetic tension
• Encourages improved blood circulation
• Supports lymphatic flow
• Helps move stagnant energy in the body
• Supports natural detoxification processes
• Encourages relaxation and nervous system regulation

Mindful Creativity

Healing through creativity

This practice uses art as a way to explore inner experience and connect with the creative process. Sessions may include drawing, painting, collage, or other simple materials. No artistic experience is necessary. The focus is on the process rather than the final result.

This approach is informed by my background in art therapy and is offered as a reflective creative practice rather than clinical therapy.

Benefits

• Supports expression of emotions and thoughts
• Encourages creativity and self connection
• Helps release tension, stress, and anxiety
• Creates space to process , reflect, and transform experiences
